Rates & Insurance

Rates for In-Office and Telehealth Counseling Sessions

$150 for 45 minute session

$200 for 60 minute session

$200 for first-time, 60 minute psychiatric evaluation intake session

Good Faith Estimates

The Good Faith Estimate (GFE) for a client meeting weekly during the first eight weeks of therapy would be $1250 if 45 minute follow-up sessions are scheduled. A Good Faith Estimate for your specific goals and circumstances will be provided upon scheduling your initial session or upon request. All clients are provided a current GFE throughout the duration of their care; clients are always entitled to receive a copy of their GFE.

Private Pay for Services

The majority of clients served are private pay clients and pay for the full service fee at the time of service. Many clients who are private pay elect to pay for counseling sessions with a FSA or HSA account by entering their FSA or HSA account for the autopay feature in the client portal. Other clients utilize a debit or credit card for their account’s autopay feature. Full payment via autopay feature in the client portal is due on the date of service.

Lyra Health Network

I am an authorized provider for Lyra Clinical Associates P.C. Clients utilizing Lyra Health enjoy full benefit coverage for clinical counseling services, regardless of sessions being conducted via telehealth platform or by meeting in person. New clients should contact Lyra to confirm benefits and, if applicable through sponsoring company, obtaining one’s Lyra code (which should be provided to me prior to the scheduled initial session).

Out-of Network Insurance Benefits

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your insurance to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy/behavioral health services with an out-of-network provider. Clients intending to utilize out-of-network benefits will be considered private pay clients and pay for the full service fees on the date of service. I provide superbills for clients with out of network benefits to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. I do not submit out-of-network claims. Clients intending to utilize out-of-network benefits are responsible for full payment at the time of service; and this provider is unable to guarantee any reimbursement for out-of-network benefits.

I recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your insurance benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include behavioral health benefits?
  • Do I have out of network benefits? If so, what percentage of my payments are reimbursable by insurance?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it? If not, what amount remains before I am eligible for coverage?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Payment

I accept FSA and HSA account debit cards and all major debit and credit cards as forms of payment. All clients are enrolled in autopay service when completing intake paperwork.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.

Phone Consultation Fees

Scheduled sessions are always the best time to discuss specific questions or concerns but sometimes clients need to discuss a significant new concern for immediate guidance and support.

A charge of $50 for every 15 minutes of phone or online teleconferencing consultation will be applied when clients desire to connect but are unable to schedule a counseling session.
