“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”
– Albert Einstein
Supporting incredibly bright individuals navigating through the common emotional intensities correlating with intense brightness is a joy. I delight in educating smart people about their quirks and deep sensitivities! In addition to providing individual clinical counseling for high-achieving, incredibly bright clients ranging widely in age, I’ve learned that very often these individuals struggle silently, impaired with a sense of imposture syndrome or cutting perfectionism. I’ve also facilitated psycho-educational groups for this special population. I’m a member of national network known as Serving the Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG) and regularly participate in local and state continuing education opportunities for this population.
