Our capacity to thoroughly assess our talents and skills and discern how we want our uniqueness to intersect with career possibilities is affected by our mental health. I love being able to wholly support my adult clients who’re professionals making career transitions. Through my counseling experience and teaching of career exploration courses through the Continuing Education Division at Johnson County Community College, I know how valuable this service is!

Very often insecurities and anxiety or sadness emerge from unhealthy work environments, so addressing the mental health aspects and developing a solid plan to build and maintain resilience during the exploration and job-search phase is key.

In addition to providing assessment and career counseling services, I help clients develop comprehensive action plans for job-seeking, including interview preparation. I also assist clients with professional resume writing services.

I’ve worked with career counseling for three institutions of higher education and served for five years as the Director of Career Services at Benedictine College.

In addition to supporting seasoned working professionals, I offer modified guidance for high school and college students looking for supplements to services available through their schools.
